Elmer’s Great North Parade is the follow up to the highly successful Great North Snowdogs trail held in 2016.

The free art trail in support of St Oswald’s Hospice arrives in Sunderland on Wednesday 21 August – Friday 1 November, featuring 50 uniquely decorated Elmers to view across the North East.

7 of the sculptures will be perfectly placed in Sunderland for the duration of the trail.

With sponsors Sunderland BID, The Bridges, ScS, Gentoo, Beacon of Light, Sunderland Buisness Group, Stagecoach, Sunderland City Council, Everyone Active and Tyne and Wear Metro funding the elephants.


Spot all 50 Elmer sculptures and 114 little Elmers with the Great North Parade trail map.

Don’t forget to download the trail app in the Apple or Android app store.

Each sculpture has a unique code to enter in the app, unlocking rewards and milestones – can you find them all?

Input each big Sculpture’s unique 4 digit code to unlock milestones and rewards.
