Estate Agent Miles Thursby from Whitburn has turned to modern technology to overcome social distancing restrictions.
He has introduced fully interactive 3D virtual tours which are the perfect tool for to view properties safely during this difficult time.
Potential buyers can get a good idea how much they like a property from the comfort of their armchairs by browsing the 3D Virtual Tours before booking a viewing as a final step before deciding if they want to make an offer.
The majority of the properties on his books have already been captured into virtual tours with more being added every week.
Clients can tour the property on a laptop, tablet or mobile device and those with a VR headset can have the full Virtual Reality experience.
Mikes said: ”Like most other businesses I had to close down suddenly in March, cancelling all viewings for the foreseeable future I transferred calls to my mobile phone.
”By the end of April things began to pick up and I was receiving of interest from people who were looking for a bigger space to set up an office.
”I also took loads of calls from people who were looking to up-size to larger properties with features like a bigger garden space, but viewings were not allowed at that point. and people were also not allowed to go in person to look a property either.
”I began advising clients to take virtual tours and they have been going very well so far.
”I have personally attended all my clients’ viewings after the lockdown ended to make sure masks and gloves are available and see to it that things were safe at each property, leaving any doors or windows open if they need to be, as well as leaving lights on so the viewer doesn’t have to touch the switches, all surfaces and door handles inside are disinfected.”
