The National Gallery Art Road Trip is coming to

Seventeen Nineteen, Holy Trinity Church

Sunday 17th November 11am – 2pm

Join art educator and artist Alex Bowie from The National Gallery for an inspiring experience! You will have the opportunity to create your own artwork influenced by the beauty of flowers and nature from the national collection.

Sunday 17th November 3pm – 4pm The Language of Flowers Talk by The National Gallery

Throughout history, flowers have been widely represented in the arts, with painters, in particular, drawn to their fragile beauty. From Van Gogh’s “Sunflowers” to Monet’s Water Lilies,” flowers have served both decorative and symbolic purposes in the works of great masters.

Join gallery educator and artist Alex Bowie for a talk exploring floriography, the language of flowers, within The National Gallery’s collection.
