Inclusive Dance Sessions & Parent/Carer Support Network

Open to anyone who loves dancing and having fun! Especially tailored towards neurodiverse individuals and those with SEND, but no diagnosis is required.

We have 3 different sessions happening on Wednesday evenings, in January 2026.

Sessions are structured and will follow a similar format each week; but each half term we will explore different themes to keep it fun and engaging. As well as dance, we embed other elements within the session such as Makaton and Yoga.

BUDS (Ages 5-10) – 4:30 – 5:30pm

BRANCH (Ages 11-16) – 5:45 – 6:45pm

ROOTS (Ages 17+) – 7:00 – 8:00 pm

Weekly sessions running in line with Sunderland school holidays. We’ve included a 15-minute transition time between each session to allow everyone to arrive and leave comfortably — no rush, no pressure, just a calm flow between groups and also means parking bays are then free for the arrival of the next group.

💷 Sessions are £6, the first session can be paid as a one off to trial it out, but we ask that the rest are paid per half term if possible.

👥 All participants should attend with a parent or carer to support where necessary, this ensures safety for all and means additional support can be provided where necessary. However, this also allows us to provide a platform for which parents/carers/support workers can connect with each other and provide a real support network for each other, in a welcoming environment.

📍 Sessions will take place at The Playgroup Hub in Sunderland,SR5 2AQ.
