Nineties favourites Peter Andre, Atomic Kitten and The Cheeky Girls are heading to Sunderland for a retro festival which promises a blast back to their musical heyday.
The enduring stars will be joined on the line-up of the We Love 90s festival by Gareth Gates, Damage, Booty Luv and Big Brovaz.
The freebie gesture is to show gratitude to key workers for their work and dedication during the challenges of the pandemic.
Organisers of the event said: “We want to say a huge thank-you to NHS staff by offering them all a free ticket to We Love 90s Live In Concert.
“It’s been a tough year and a half and the We Love 90s team want to give NHS staff members a well-earned chance to let their hair down – nineties-style!”
The Sunderland festival promises to take live music fans on a fast and furious journey back through a catalogue of 90s pop hits and into the 2000s.
It tells fans: “This really is an unmissable event for all 90s and 00s lovers, so get ready for a special night of 90s pop galore as you travel back in time to a fantastic decade of hits.”
To claim their free ticket to the show, NHS staff just need to email firstname.lastname@example.org from their work email account.
Earlier this week local key workers enjoyed a day of free music at a special This Is For The NHS which took place in Exhibition Park in Newcastle on Thursday in the run-up to This Is Tomorrow Festival, with headliners James and The Lightning Seeds entertaining the crowds.
