Sunderland Libraries Literature Festival 2019

Tuesday, October 1, 2019 to Wednesday, October 30, 2019

Each October Sunderland Libraries Literature Festival brings together a vibrant mix of authors, thinkers and artists to the city, providing inspiration and entertainment.

The festival has been supported by the University’s School of Culture for several years and we are delighted that yet again Steve Watts, Head of School of Culture, and his colleagues in the School
of Culture, are contributing to the programme with a range of events.
This year’s festival is the perfect place to celebrate your love of literature with fellow fans, see your favourite local authors in action, and of course, discover new writers and illustrators, including
talks, workshops, book launches and other exciting events.
This year’s line-up includes leading fiction, non-fiction, independent and emerging authors, including Mari Hannah, Glenda Young and Janet MacLeod Trotter.
The majority of events are free, although donations are welcome. For further information about any event or booking or to keep updated with any changes to the programme, please enquire at the
venue where the event will take place or Click here
