This North East city is the third most affordable place in the UK to rent a flat

A study has revealed that Sunderland is the third cheapest city in the UK to rent a flat.

The research was carried out by financial experts TheAdvisorCoach which analysed the most populated cities in the UK and used data from Numbeo to find where tenants can rent an apartment at the lowest cost.

The analysis was based on prices for one and three bed apartments inside and outside the city centre and the average cost.
