Tickets for Bruce Springsteen’s Sunderland date are still up for grabs

A big date with The Boss approaches and as the North East gears up to welcome him, there’s good news for fans who have not yet booked tickets.

Bruce Springsteen will be at the Stadium of Light in Sunderland on May 22 when his huge European tour with The E Street Band brings him north. And there are still tickets available to see him – for a price.

The tour will be the first time Springsteen has played in the region since his Wrecking Ball tour came to Sunderland in 2012. The Dancing in the Dark star will be playing 22 stadium dates in all, taking in several European countries, but the Sunderland football ground is the only location in England outside of London’s Wembley Stadium to be included.

So no doubt many fans will be prepared to pay quite a sum to see the 74-year-old Springsteen in action. There are other UK and Ireland options but these are in Cardiff, Belfast, Kilkenny, Cork and Dublin.

Those still interested in tickets for the Sunderland show can check out remaining options – see here – which include some reserved seating tickets as well as restricted view tickets, which are available for £126.75, plus there are currently some re-sale options available from £138

Tickets are available to buy on Ticketmaster and Live Nation. The Stadium of Light website offers a range of VIP hospitality packages for the show – some of which have sold out – which include extra perks such as ‘red carpet’ entry, premium seating, pre-show entertainment, food and drink.

Currently there is a Gold Package for £269 per person, while a Gold Plus is £309 and Platinum costs £369.
